Policies

Service policy:


     All services are paid for in full at the advertised rate and payments are made online through the online booking system, unless you are a commercial customer, rates will by agreed upon before commencing a session and payments are to be made via bank transfer at the time of booking. Please note that any payment(s) not received means that a session will not commence at no fault to Breathe. For any reason a payment is not received by us, please contact your bank or building society in the first instance.

For online bookings, if you are unable to attend a refund or exchange will not be offered, however, you may offer your space to an other person as long as they have read and understood these policies. For commercial customers, we required at least 7 days notice to book an appointment and we require at least 12 hour notice when cancelling or rebooking an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged for the full session using the payment method provided at booking. Clients arriving more than 15 mintues after their appointment start time will be considered a no-show. We may provide a one-time cancellation fee waiver for extenuating circumstances. Should we need to cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hour notice, clients will not be charged any fees and will receive priority rebooking or a full refund if desired. We do not send out appointment reminders at this time and it is the clients sole responsibility to cancel or rebook appointments if necessary.

Mindfulness is proven to be beneficial for mental health and wellbeing in the right circumstances, but please note these mindfulness practice session(s) are not ‘treatment’ for mental health problems or any addictions. You understand that service(s) offered are for educational purposes only. We do not offer professional health advice. If you are experiencing any medical or mental health issues, we would strongly advise that you obtain advice from a qualified professional before processing further with a service(s). Also, if you have recently or are currently experiencing a traumatic life event such as death of a close family member or redundancy, this may not be the most appropriate time to undertake or continue with mindfulness sessions. This is depended upon on your current psychological health and the support network(s) that you have around you. If you are taking any meditation for a mental health condition or addiction, then we recommend you continue to take as prescribed unless discussed with your medication prescriber. You agree that it is your own responsibility to consult a physician prior to and regarding your participation in the mindfulness service(s).

 

During session(s) there may be movement involved. You agree that any movement or exercise programmes offered by Breathe-mindfulness you will receive information and instruction about physical exercise or health. You recognise that exercise requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and you are fully aware of the risks and hazards involved. It is your responsibility to consult a physician or health care provider prior to and regarding your participation in any movement. Therefore, you represent and warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical conditions, that would prevent your full participation in session(s). If you are pregnant, it is your responsibility inform the teacher/instructor and to follow any advise from your physician. Therefore, you understand that you participate fully at your own risk and that of your unborn child/children.

 

Please seek medical advice before you participate in any session(s) where sound is used. Adverse reactions are rare, however we recommend that you do not buy or attend a sound meditation in the following circumstances. If you are in the first 3 months of a pregnancy. If have epilepsy and had a seizure in the last 3 months. Please contact us to speak about sound meditations if you have a pacemaker fitted, have metal plates or implants in your body, or you have tinnitus or a hearing aid fitted.

We have made every attempt to ensure that the information contained in the website and that may have been provided via other means of communication is accurate and we are not responsible for any errors, or for the results obtained from the use of this information or service(s). Under no circumstances can we be held liable or accountable for perceived harm(s) caused before, during or after service(s), nor are we liable to you or anyone else for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the information in the website or other commination(s).


Therefore you knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim you may have against the tutor / facilitator for any injury, damages or loss of profit(s) that you may sustain as a result of participating in service(s). You also agree to take full and sole responsibility from any liability of loss or damage to personal property associated with mindfulness meditation or any other event.

Breathe-mindfulness aspires to be an inclusive independent company able to serve people of all ages, genders, class, religion, beliefs, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic origin, or abilities. It is important that all participants feel assured they can contact us if there are any specific inclusion needs that we can address to ensure our service(s) or training is appropriate and safe for you. This information is essential as it allows us to refines its offerings and serve all communities.

Please be aware that all sessions, courses and events will be delivered in English only and we take no responsibility for any computer issue(s).

Privacy policy:


     Breathes logo, images, page designs, written work is protected under copyright law and you are not allowed to use, reproduce or copy any material(s) without first gaining consent.

When you conduct a transaction on our website or via other means of communication or send a message through the contact form, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons to provide and operate the service, and to be able to contact visitors with ongoing customer assistance and technical support. On the website we may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages and page interaction information to improve our website and service(s). Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

If you do not want us to process your data anymore, or if you would like to access, amend or delete any personal information we have about you, please contact us at jodie@breathe-mindfulness.org. We reserve the right to modify this privacy & service policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
